I officially retired in December 2009 but continued to work in a per diem basis for the same company to help in the transition. They gave me a great retirement party in June 2010 and gave me some great parting gifts. Two gifts were gift cards to a tool manufacturer which completely paid for my new table saw, its mobile base and shipping. I added: a router table to its right side, a new router fence which attaches to the table saw fence, dust collection to the saw and router, a drawer below the extension table, a folding outfeed table and a SawStop blade guard which incorporated dust collection.
