Slow Progress over Christmas
Christmas was great. Along with some nice clothes, I received a dovetail jig, wood chisels (very sharp), and some other cool big boy toys.
Back to work after 2 weeks off. Whoa, what a lot of work awaited me! Actually worked on the big project between rain storms. Starting to look like big Leggo parts just waiting to be finished and put together. The book shelves are coming together. The raised panel door parts have been finished and one coat of rub-on poly has been applied to each. I bought the wood to make the desk tops. Really had to look through the pile of heavy plywood sheets to find a couple of decent boards. The wife was really working to help me lift all those boards. Then on the way home, another storm hit and the tarp I put over the boards started to blow off. Wet wood. Progress pictures coming soon.
